OrchardStories is free during our beta period. We're still figuring out the best way to sustain this project long-term while keeping core features accessible to all gardeners. Your feedback during beta helps shape what that looks like.

Forums are conversations that scroll away. OrchardStories is structured documentation you can search and filter. Find gardens by your exact zone, soil type, and climate - not just whoever happened to reply recently.

I'm new to permaculture. Is this for me?

Absolutely. In fact, you might benefit most. Browse what's working for others in your climate before you plant anything. Learn from their years of experience and mistakes without making them yourself.

Who can see my garden?

All gardens on OrchardStories are visible to the community in Explore. This is how we learn from each other - your documented experiences help gardeners in similar conditions make better decisions.

How does the AI photo analysis work?

Upload a photo of your plants, and our AI will help identify what's in the image, assess plant health, spot potential issues, and suggest next steps. It's like having an experienced gardener look over your shoulder.

What if there are no gardens matching my conditions?

Document yours and be the first! As more gardeners join, the matches will grow. You might help the next person searching for your exact conditions.

Can I export my data?

Yes, your observations and project data belong to you. Contact us if you need an export.
