OrchardStories started with a simple frustration: permaculture knowledge is scattered everywhere except where you need it.

When I wanted to know if pawpaw would actually grow in my zone 7 clay soil, I got forum opinions, not data. I found books full of theory but nothing showing real results from real gardens over real time.

So I built the tool I wished existed - a place where gardeners document what's actually happening in their gardens, year after year. Where you can find someone with your exact conditions and learn from their five years of experience in five minutes.

OrchardStories is built by James - a gardener, technologist, and believer that the best way to learn is from those who've already walked the path.
